Our venue is The Leader Suite, Manchester Conference Centre, Sackville Street, Manchester M1 3BB. Tucked away in a quiet corner of the busy Manchester Conference Centre, The Leader Suite is private and self-contained and has excellent level access to all facilities.
A bright, sunny room (assuming the weather co-operates) it is large enough for us to spread ourselves out, and has a wide hallway where we can set up dealers’ tables and an ante-room for food service and breakout meetings. There are ladies’ toilets in the suite itself and men’s and accessible toilets in a nearby corridor. The Garden Bar is also handy, and has both indoor and outdoor seating areas.
Access and other considerations
The Leader Suite is quite a long walk from the main entrance of the venue, although there are both ramps and lifts to accommodate changes of level. It should be fully accessible for anyone who uses a wheelchair; however anyone who has difficulty walking but does not use a wheelchair may find it challenging. If you fall into this category, please let us know and we’ll do our best to advise you about access.
We will have access to AV equipment and hopefully should be able to make the proceedings fully audible to those with hearing difficulties. However anybody still uncertain about being able to hear is welcome to contact us and if possible we’ll seat you towards the front of the room.
At the time of writing, we have no plans for any visual displays. If this changes, we’ll keep everybody informed.
There is a separate leaflet about accessible hotel bedrooms; please ask us to forward it to you if required.
Storage or Cloakroom
There are no separate cloakroom or luggage storage facilities, so unless you have access to a room in the hotel your coat, bag and other personal possessions will be safest in your care.
