Our venue is The Jam Factory Restaurant and Arts Centre, Hollybush Row, Oxford OX1 1HU.
The Jam Factory is a wonderfully relaxed, creative space which serves food and beverages for all tastes – we can definitely recommend the home-made cakes and biscuits! It is all on one level and fully wheelchair-accessible. Importantly, it has free WiFi!
Main programme events will take place in the Boiler Room, and we’ll have dealers’ tables and break-out space in the Large Gallery which links directly to the restaurant.
Access and Other Considerations
Entering through the café, all the floors are level and the spaces wide enough to turn in. There is a wheelchair-accessible loo (shared with the baby changing area) leading off the main part of the café. All the doorways are wide enough for wheelchairs, although some of them might involve tight turns; this is the nature of an old building designed for a different purpose, unfortunately.
We will not be using audio-visual aids, so anyone with hearing difficulties should make their requirements known and we’ll arrange for them to be seated near the front.
Storage or Cloakroom
The layout of the venue doesn’t allow for storage, and there is no cloakroom available. Your coat, bag and other personal possessions will be safest in your care.
Neither the event organisers nor The Jam Factory can take responsibility for items that are lost, stolen or damaged during the day.
